NOTICE TO
BARREN COUNTY TAXPAYERS
Joanne London, Barren County Clerk and the Barren Fiscal Court, pursuant to KRS 424.130, announce that the 2015 Delinquent Real Property Tax Bills (Certificates of Delinquency) will be published in the Glasgow Daily Times on Saturday, August 13, 2016. The list of Certificates of Delinquency are also available for public inspection Monday thru Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm and Saturday 8:00am to 12pm at the County Clerk’s office located at 117-1A North Public Square Glasgow, KY 42141. This list may also be inspected on the De- linquent Tax website. The Uniform Resource Locater (URL) of the website is 174.141.82.110. The tax sale will be held on September 14, 2016 at 8:00am. All interested participants must register with the County Clerk’s office by the close of business on September 2, 2016. Please contact the County Clerk’s office if you need additional information about the tax sale registration process, the required registration fee or the deposit amounts that will be needed. Please Note: All payments from taxpayers must be received in the County Clerk’s office by 12pm August 9, 2016 to prevent names from being published in the paper. Payments received after the tax sale has been conducted will be
returned without exception, if the tax bill has been purchased by a third party. County Clerk Joanne London, reminds taxpayers that delinquent tax bills purchased by third parties can result in additional fees, penalties and interest, as well as foreclosures. Some delinquencies-although they have been advertised- will be excluded from the tax sale in accordance with the provisions of KRS 134.504 (10) (b).
