INVITATION TO LEASE CDL TEST SITE
The
Kentucky Finance and Administration Cabinet
desires to lease a site suitable for conducting Commercial Drivers License testing to be located in Barren or Warren County. Proposed site(s) must offer a firm (gravel, conrete, or asphalt) surface area with minimum dimensions of 200 feet by 300 feet. Preference will be provided to site(s) that offer access to utilities (electric, water/sewer, and telephone) and to site(s) lcoated in proximity to Interstate 65, the William H. Natcher Parkway, or the Cumberland Parkway.
Interested parties may submit proposals to lease existing properties and/or proposals to construct new facilities. The initial proposal must include the name, address, and telephone number of the property own-er; the name, address, and telephone number of the property agent if applicable; the street address of ex-isting properties; and the street address or a location description for sites offered for new construction. Any property selected for lease must meet OSHA specifi-cations, as well as ADA guidelines and all applicable building codes as enforced by the KY Division of Building Code Enforcement. Notwithstanding the provisions of KRS 56.803, a preference may be provided to pro-posals offering properties that are capable of LEED certification. Additional information regarding participation requirements for lease projects will be provided to all respondents.
Proposals may be made by any person in writing on or before 10:30a.m. May 11, 2016, and must be sent to: Division of Real Properties, RE: PR-5422, ATT N: Leasing Branch, Suite 300, 403 Wapping Street, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601 -2607. FAX/email propos-als will not be accepted. All responses received will be publicly opened and read at the above-designated time.
